//Mind reading the date first ;)
In this historical day, our best friend Google announced its first step towards bringing free, fast broadband access to everybody. The service is called TiSP, and is available for citizens of USA and Canada (support for international clients, as well as Mac / Linux users is coming soon).
From the official Press Release:
“We’ve got that whole organizing-the-world’s-information thing more or less under control,” said Google Co-founder and President Larry Page. “What’s interesting, though, is how many different modalities there are for actually getting that information to you – not to mention from you.”
