Nice page, it’s cool to know some extra about you.
I have some friends who used to study in that high-school. Well, you’ve just confirmed that most of the people who graduate it are skilled pros in one field or another.
Good luck, and keep up the good work!
p.s. Could you once write a story which covers how you came to be a fan of KDE? I myself stick to Gnome, but I’m curious.
Thanks.
I plan to write a KDE “love declaration” some time soon (maybe next week). It is refreshing to see people using one desktop environment without being negative towards “the other one” :)
I am an LMT alumnus, class of 2006. I believe we were both part of the Physics@LMT group, but we never talked much.
I thought in the entire LMT there was nobody who was as excited about Linux, OSS, coding and especially KDE as me. Well, I guess I was wrong and that’s good. I do recall I made some attempts to find such people, unsuccessfully.
Well, good luck on Konvert2Ogg. Who knows, maybe one day it’ll get accepted into trunk/kdemultimedia.
What a strange coincidence, I noticed your name on the kde-core-devel mailing list only a few days ago. I’m actually more into computer science than physics…
You are also the first person I know from Moldova who has sent patches to KDE!
Found your page looking for Robert A. Heinlein quotes! Found some nice ones.
Have a friend from Moldova. She lives in the U.S. now. She taught me a few Russian phrases.
Best of luck with your studies.
hei :) imi place blogul tau. am scos la imprimanta cateva posturi (precizare: celelalte posturi, nu cele despre informatica & hmm … stuff) si le-am citit asa, ca pe niste fragmente dintr-o carte
Buna atmosfera, nin pop-up in my head :) . Imaginea cu pasarile mi-a adus aminte si de un atmosferic formidabil de marek denko

Update: Yesterday I found out that a somewhat old acquaintance of mine has been helping with porting KDE4.0 to OpenSolaris.
Previet Constantin!
